Why can't my dentist do the work ?
All dentists are trained to do basic endodontic treatment. Â However, there will be occasions where the diagnosis or treatment options are unclear or the case may be deemed too difficult. Â It is these people that are referred for specialist care.
Will my insurance cover my visit?
This is a matter for you to discuss with your health insurer. Â There are many insurance policies available and all are different. Â We are not preferred providers for the health insurance funds and choose to be independent
Will I feel anything?
In most cases simple local analgesia is all that is required for painless treatment.  In many cases local anaesthetic is not required as the dental pulp has died.
Is there parking available?
There is ample one hour parking on the street in front of the building. Â Should there not be parking then you are welcome to park alongside the building
How much does endodontic treatment cost?
Every case is different and so an estimate of treatment will be given at the first appointment. Â You are most welcome to ring our staff before your initial appointment to get an idea of costs once you give more information about your circumstances
Is there wheelchair access?
We have a portable ramp available to allow access up two steps.  Please let us know before you come so that we can have it ready for you.
Can I be Sedated?
Most treatment can be performed with simple local anaesthetic. Â We are aware that some people require more than this in some cases. Â Please discuss this with our staff. Â We offer Nitrous Oxide (happy gas) sedation as well as twilight sedation if required. Â We do not provide general anaesthetic services
